IT Support Administrator (IT Department)
icon Mechanical is seeking qualified professionals to join our IT Department. We are a design engineering, fabrication and self-perform mechanical contractor headquartered in Granite City, IL. Ideal candidates are willing to take a “hands on” role, must have a team player attitude, and be motivated to learn and gain a general understanding of how to maintain icon’s current and future systems. This role will provide support oversight, remote and onsite technical computer, device, and network support to ensure icon Mechanical systems are running at peak performance.

– Support Administrator (1+ Years of Experience in a Similar Role)
Primary responsibilities for icon’s Support Administrator role include:
Oversee all support inquiries and support team
Resolve escalated and priority issues
Develop and refine problem resolution process
Respond, research, accurately troubleshoot and decipher problems by asking probing questions and utilizing available resources
Purchase and set up laptops, mobile devices, workstations and related software for users
Create, manage, and terminate (setup, access changes, password resets, etc.) end user accounts from authorized requests
Maintain software and hardware inventories. Manage tracking program
Manage company cell phone program, iPad, and MDM processes
Identify internal and external support trends and takes steps to proactively prevent/solve problems
Primary qualifications and skills for icon’s Support Administrator role include:
Associate’s Degree or an equivalent amount of relevant experience required
Positive and professional attitude with excellent communication and analytical skills
Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate
Technical aptitude with a focus on continuous learning and development
Microsoft 365 experience. Ability to create accounts, delete accounts, lockout users, reset password, MFA and other tasks. Other app experience desired, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
Microsoft Active Directory experience.
Dell system experience
